Do you have way too many tomatoes and don’t want to take the time to blanch and peel them? Me either! I love homemade tomato sauce but hate the work, that is until my friend told me about her fast and easy tomato sauce recipe. No blanching, no peeling, and I throw in whatever vegetable I want to add. You’ll love this recipe as much as I do!
- 15-20 tomatoes quartered
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 onions
- Basil and oregano to taste
- Roast in large pan 45 minutes at 450 degrees. Add spices the last 15 minutes. Puree and process.
- Note: You could also add peppers, jalapenos or any other vegetable you like.
